Have you ever been in that weird place of wanting to put on makeup but not really wanting to feel like you’re wearing makeup at all? I’ve been in that position way too many times to count. Through months of trial & error, I’ve come up with the best ‘no makeup’ makeup routine. Since my biggest skin concern is post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, I wanted a routine that even out my skin tone. Though, I also wanted a routine that still looked like skin and didn’t feel too heavy.
In my opinion, everyday makeup should supplement your beauty routine instead of creating your beauty routine. My personal beauty philosophy is that your skincare and makeup should work together to give you your best beauty look. So while keeping this makeup routine in mind, be sure to also have a skincare routine that works perfectly with your skin type & concerns. If you’re new to skincare, no worries! I use two face makeup products to achieve this ‘no makeup’ makeup look. The ‘Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturizer’ and the ‘Lancome Teint Idole Camouflage Concealer’ are the best for this look. These products even out my complexion but my skin still looks like skin, and it doesn’t feel like I’m really any makeup at all.
